When arriving in the community near Sierra Army Depot, the nearest major airport is the Reno-Taho International Airport which is located about 49 miles from the base. Taxi service is available at the airport. If arriving by car from the airport, head north toward Pilot Way. Take slight left to merge onto US0-395 toward I-80 Reno/Sparks. Turn right onto Garnier Road. Turn right onto Herlong Access Road and continue onto Susanville, Road to Sierra Army Depot's main gate. The main gate will be located on your right just a little further ahead. If military personnel need temporary lodging, contact the Skedaddle Inn.
